If the Ogre is killed, the passengers file out and do battle.  The coach is carrying a medusa with three Orog bodyguards.  The medusa is cloaked and will reveal herself only if in melee.

  1. If the party stands by and does not help either side or wait until once side is the victor before entering battle, they get no extra experience.
  2. If the party helps the Ogre, the medusa rewards them with a bag of 10 (base 50 gp each) amethyst.  She says her name is Jada and is an ambassador to one of the nearby kingdoms.  She thanks them and asks them to look her up if they ever need aid.  Party earns an extra CR 6 encounter experience
  3. If the party helps the Gnolls, they turn on the party after the medusa is killed and try to slay them also.  No extra experience is gained.
