While traveling through the woods, the party is stopped by a man in forest clothes. He is handsome and charismatic. He demands payment for "safe passage" through his forest. The party notices about half a dozen figures moving through the trees. If the party pays, he bids them safe journey and disappears in the forest. If they refuse to pay, he will try to persuade them before signaling his friends to attack.
