Earthborn are humans who have lived for at least three generations on the island of Arcadia. Their constant contact with the Fey and the land from which they fairy magic derives has slightly altered these Humans. Although Earthborn do keep their abilities if they leave Arcadia, if their offspring is born and raised away from Arcaida the offspring gains none of the fey associated abilities and is considered a normal human. Only a child of the Earthborn who is returned to Arcadia before their one year birthday and stays in Arcadia for at least 10 years gains the Earthborn abilities. Children of the Earthborn born on Arcadia begin to show their Earthborn nature at around the age of 5 as long as they do not leave Arcadia during that time.
