Most believe Kalivasha is a deity but members of the Duskbrothers know her as an eight foot animate statue hidden in their stronghold beneath Araxanium. The Duskbrothers are a group dedicated to Death. They hold death as sacred and believe that Immortality is the greatest of sins. Undeath is a punishment that they give out to offenders of Kalivasha. The brotherhood is a loosely organized group of like minded individuals. Their initiation rituals are a closely guarded secret. Their membership are elusive. Those who are aware of the Duskbrothers suspect that at least one of their members exist in each town and hamlet.
The statue of Kalivasha stands eight foot tall and made of a reddish brown stone that is always warm to the touch. Hidden away in a chamber beneath their stronghold in Araxanium, the statue sits above a pool of water with mythic properties. Although mobile, the statue only moves on Holy Days when it stands and refills the pool.
The question of weather she is an Idol or a Goddess is one of debate to outsiders who know of the Duskbrothers but it seems to be a distinction without a difference.
HOLY DAYS
Vernal and Autumnal Equinox: The two days where the day and night are of equal duration are holy days to Kalivasha. It is believed that these days of balance bring Kalivasha to her greatest strength. It is during these days that she grants the Duskbrothers her greatest gift.
ABILITIES
Animate (Su): This item can animate at will, as per the spell animate object. The idol retains its mental ability scores as normal in this animated form.
Conceal (Su): The idol is warded from divination spells, as if under the effects of a nondetection spell with the idol’s Ego score serving as the DC.
Divine Source (Su): The idol can grant divine spells to worshipers, allowing them to select it as their deity for the purposes of determining their spells and domains. The idol selects two domains upon taking this ability. These must be alignment domains matching the idol’s alignment if possible; if not, it can select the remaining domain or domains from among all domains. The idol grants access to these domains as if it were a deity. Creatures that gain spells from the idol don’t receive any spells per day of levels higher than one-quarter the idol’s Ego score (minimum 1); they lose those spell slots.
Fly (Su): The idol gains a fly speed of 30 feet with average maneuverability.
Supernatural Presence (Su): The idol’s presence is supernaturally unsettling or captivating. Foes within range of the idol’s influence may become frightened or shaken. The range is 60 feet, and the duration of the fear effect is 5d6 rounds.
An affected opponent can resist the effects with a successful Will save (DC = 10 + 1/4 the idol’s Ego score + the idol’s highest ability score modifier). An opponent that succeeds at the saving throw is immune to that idol’s presence for 24 hours.
On a failed save, the opponent is shaken, or frightened if it has 4 Hit Dice or fewer. This is a mind-affecting fear effect.
Teleport (Sp): Once per day, the idol can teleport as per the spell.
Holy Day - Enthrall (Su): Once per day, the idol can trigger subtle reverence in the minds of nearby creatures. This ability functions similarly to an enthrall spell, though the idol need not speak or sing—its divine presence manifests as a gentle ecstatic hum in the minds of witnesses, potentially swaying the weak-willed toward veneration. An unwilling target can negate this effect with a successful Will save (DC = 12 + the idol’s highest ability score modifier).
Holy Day - Pool of Death (Su): Kalivasha focuses the pure power of Death into a pool of water enough to fill a 25 x 25 x 25 meter area. The water becomes sanctified and carries the essence of Death. This water is deadly to the touch and is a poison that is instantly fatal to those unfaithful to the goddess. These pools are guarded by all the resources of the Order of Dust and the Order of Ash.
This pool loses its power every 6 months and is always renewed at the Solstice. The pool grants special abilities to those who submerge themselves for at least 4 hours. Those unfaithful to Kalivasha must make a DC: 24 willpower save or suffer a death effect. This save must be made every hour of submersion in the pool. Submersion requires all of the body but the person may keep their mouth and nose above water and still get the effects.
Holy Day - Spellcasting (Sp): The idol gains the ability to cast a limited number of spells as spell-like abilities. The idol can activate each spell-like ability once per day.

DESTRUCTION
Due to the sheer power of the Duskbrothers, any attempt to reach the Idol will require a great force of arms.
To destroy Kalivasha, it must first be hit with a Stone to Flesh spell of at least CL 14. Then the statue must be exposed to positive energy equal to half its hit points. Once these steps are taken the animated statue turned flesh must be slain with a divinely blessed weapon. A final step is to burn the statue remains with Hellfire to prevent it from reconstituting.
Alternately, a divine being can do battle with the statue and slay it. Although this method hasn't been fully researched it is believed due to the power of deities like Lyranis and other godslayers.
Orn the Crusher
| Aura: Weak (all schools) | CL:14 | Weight: 8 lb | |
| Alignment: CE | Senses: 30ft, Darkvision, Empathy | ||
| Intelligence: 13 | Wisdom: 14 | Charisma: 12 | Ego: 12 |
| Hardness: 12 | Hit Points: 30 | Armor Class: 4 | |
In the heart of the Gnoll empire, Orn the Crusher takes the form of a large red-iron mace. The followers of Orn number around one thousand. The cult of Orn worship the blood colored mace and revere it as holy.
The chosen or Orn, about a dozen gnolls carry the mace into battle and guard the mace when not in use. These gnolls are immortal, do not eat, do not sleep, and are fantical in their devotion to Orn.
HOLY DAYS
Eclipses, both solar and lunar, are worshiped as Holy Days by the followers of Orn.
ABILITIES
Channel Negative Energy (Su): The idol can release a pulse of negative energy to cause or heal damage. This functions as the channel energy cleric class ability, but the pulse radiates in a 60-foot radius centered on the idol, and deals or heals 2d6 points of damage (DC = 18).
The idol can use this ability 4 times per day.
Immortal Promise (Su): The idol grants a form of immortality to some of its worshipers. Each day, the idol selects a number of its worshipers equal to its Ego score. While within 1 mile of the idol, these selected worshipers do not age; do not need to eat, drink, or breathe; and do not suffer any ill effects from extreme heat or extreme cold. The recipients of this gift can change daily on the idol’s whim.
An unwilling target can negate this effect with a successful Will save (DC = 14).
DESTRUCTION
Destroying Orn the Crusher requires targeting the weapon with a freezing effect, such as Cone of Cold, and then dropping it into a live volcano within 2 rounds of being chilled.
